+# Baggrundsmateriale om subsidiaritet
+
+Indenfor statskundskab er subsidiaritetsprincippet
+(også kaldet nærhedsprincippet)
+en form for decentralisering.
+Decentralisering dækker ifølge @Faguet2023 [p. 24]
+over flere væsensforskellige ting:
+Delegering (spredning af magtapperat ud til lokalområder),
+devolution (øget autonomi for lokalområder)
+og privatisering (konvertering til konkurrence i lokalområder).
+Subsidiaritetsprincippet præciseres
+som værende en form for devolution
